US Shooting at a high school leaves 3 dead several injured

In a horrific turn of events, three students lost their lives and eight others sustained severe injuries in a shooting incident reported from a Michigan High School. As per the information shared by the authorities, a student is believed to be behind the incident.
Providing more details on the incident, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said that the eight victims who sustained injuries include a teacher and the students of the high school. While four of the victims are doing fine now, three students are in serious condition.
The shooting incident was reported on the evening of Tuesday. The incident took place when a teenager opened fire at the students and a teacher in the High School. It is said that the suspect who was reportedly taken into custody used a semiautomatic weapon for the attack. The investigation is underway and more details on the incident are underway.
After the incident, people present in the school swung into action and tried their best to rush out of the school resulting in a ruckus. Several people are believed to have sustained injuries in the mishap to escape the situation. However, these injuries were not included in the list of injuries as the injuries were not severe.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer addressed the media on the horrific gun shooting and called the incident a nightmare for the parents. She said it was devastating to her to know about the incident. The Governor called for an effort to end the gun culture which is sending the wrong message.
