Big Brother's Big Help: US to supply 500 million vaccine shots to lower-income countries!

Several countries are facing the deadly impact left by the current Covid-19 pandemic. Compared to the developed countries, the situations in low-income countries are facing even devastating situations.
As a bid to lend a helping hand to the low-income countries, 'Big Brother' United States is gearing up to procure around 500 million Pfizer vaccine doses reportedly. The same will be supplied to low-income countries.
It has been widely reported that, out of the 500 million doses, 200 million shots will be distributed in 2021, while the remaining doses are likely to reach the respective nations in the 2022 first half.
However, the United States will not donate the vaccine shots directly. The shots will be sent to the global vaccine sharing programme 'Covax', led by the global health agency World Health Organization(WHO).
Serving President of the United States, Joe Biden is expected to make a formal announcement on the vaccine donations at the Group of Seven (G7) summit. Britain will host the meet of the wealthiest countries in the globe.
Earlier on June 2, US President announced that 2.5 crore vaccine doses will be transferred to COVAX global vaccine sharing programme. Out of the doses, 1.9 crore doses will be sent first.
