The Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah in the United States of America is going through redevelopment works. Recently, the second phase of the redevelopment project has started at the airport.
As part of the redevelopment project, the airport authorities have demolished 84-foot steel and concrete tower. Within a few seconds, the Delta Tower crashed into pieces. The video of the demolition went viral on social media.
The Salt Lake City International Airport took to Twitter to share the short video of the massive Delta Tower demolition on Monday. The video shows the tower crashing into pieces in a few seconds.
"Today, this 84-foot Delta Tower that was built in 1989 to direct aircraft to the gate was demolished. Here is some footage Avalanche Studios took from the Delta Sky Club. The demolition marks a major timeline in the construction of Phase II of #TheNewSLC," the tweet reads.
