USCIS Aims At Extracting More Money from F-1 Visa Holders?
X
It is known that the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently announced that F1 visa holders can get a benefit with the premium processing. However, international students under some categories can get the benefit. This news left the international students elated and they were happy.

Indians are in big numbers who got to America. Hearing the news, the students are also happy that they can get the employment authorization to find a job to make ends meet and save money to not put more burden on their families back in India. Everything was fine until now.

But the reality is that international students have to shell youtube big amounts to get employment authorization done. It costs around 2,000 dollars for the process. Students who go there for the students cannot spend so much money and their families have to face the burden.

The students have to spend around $410 for the Optional Practical Training (OPT) as a filing fee. This is the procedure. On top of this, they have to spend more than $1500 if they want to opt for premium processing. In total it takes more than 2,000 dollars for the procedure which is a big amount when translated into Indian currency. It is around 1,63,836.00 in Indian rupees.

Usually, poor and middle-class people go abroad by taking loans. They work hard thereby doing jobs in their free time to clear the dues. If they had to go through the process, then it would be a big burden. This tells that only rich students can opt for the processing.

Many say that the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)'s new idea is nothing but a way to get big income for the aspirants who are in dire need of the process and can spend money to get the job done.

The number of Indians who settle there after finishing their studies is also increasing slowly. Having become accustomed to the climate and lifestyle there, most of them prefer living there by applying for a green card. Rather than focusing on increasing the facilities for the process, the US administration is coming up with such ideas.
