Task Force To Expose Green Card Frauds

Task Force comprising of several Lawyers and Immigration Lawyers have been appointed to verify the records of Green Card holders since 1990.
Major problem could be paper-based records containing fingerprint information can't be searched electronically. Digitizing all such records is a time consuming process.
The USCIS is going to set up an officer in Los Angeles for carrying out denaturalization. Here, Records of people who obtained US Citizenship since 1990 will be reviewed.
Since 1990, More than 17 million people were granted permanent residency by US. Immigration Officials suspect several thousands of people might have obtained Green Card by providing wrong information or lying.
In 2008, A CBS Officer identified 206 people who obtained US Citizenship with false information. This happened because of not digitizing Fingerprint Records of Immigrants.
