Uttam Strategy: Revanth Joins Huzurnagar Campaign

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Uttam Kumar Reddy is proving to be cleverer than many expected. He is proving to be quite a match for KCR. He is showing that he has the ability to have his way in a faction-ridden party like the Congress Party. Firstly, he had his way by getting party ticket for his wife Padmavathi to contest in the Huzurnagar bypoll. In fact, Huzurnagar assembly seat was originally won by Uttam Kumar Reddy himself and he vacated it after winning the MP election. There was lot of opposition to Padmavathi within various factions of the party, especially from Revanth Reddy. But, Uttam Reddy got the high command's nod and thus Padmavathi became the candidate.
Soon after, he and his wife began crisscrossing the constituency like there's no tomorrow. What more, he got senior leaders from the district like Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to join hands with him. These two leaders are now actively working for Padmavathi's victory. In another major victory, he also convinced his arch-rival and competitor Revanth Reddy to campaign for his wife. Revanth is now currently organising padayatra in Huzurnagar constituency to drum up support for Padmavathi. This again is being seen as a big success for Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Uttam Kumar Reddy's popularity and campaign style is giving jitters to the TRS, which thought the bypoll would be a walkover. The TRS is now huffing and puffing in its campaign and has deployed over 150 key leaders for Huzurnagar. Thus, Uttam Reddy is proving to be a tougher nut to crack.
