PM Modi Chairs An Online Meeting With Chief Ministers Of Worst-Affected States

PM, Modi chaired a meeting with the Chief Ministers of West Bengal Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, NITI Aayog's Dr. VK Paul have also attended the meeting.
The Prime Minister asked the states to focus on the cold storage facilities so that no issues arise when the Covid-19 vaccine is rolled out. He also stressed the coordination between the states.
Talking about the Vaccine, PM Modi said, the government is keeping an eye on the Vaccine developments and the government is in touch with the vaccine regulators also.
Stressing on the pro-active participation over vaccine distribution, Modi asked the states to send the plans on how to go about distributing the vaccine to the lowest levels.
Prime Minister added that the vaccine offered to the citizens will be safe and the Covid-19 warriors will be given the first importance in vaccine distribution.
