AIIMS Director Makes A Big Announcement On Vaccine Availability In India!

When the entire country is eagerly waiting for the vaccine to cure the ongoing pandemic, AIIMS director and member of the national task force on Covid-19 management Dr. Randeep Guleria made a huge announcement over vaccine availability.
The AIIMS director said going by the pace of clinical trials, we can get the potential vaccines to cure the Coronavirus pandemic by the end of this month or early next month.
Talking about giving the vaccines to the public in the country, Dr. Randeep Guleria said the process of vaccinating the public shall start, once the Indian regulatory authorities give emergency use authorisation for the vaccines.
The News Agency ANI quoted the AIIMS Director as saying, the results of the vaccine trials so far are encouraging. We are not comprising on the safety and efficiency of the vaccine. No volunteer developed adverse effects after taking vaccine doses so far.
Referring to the Chennai trial case, AIIMS Director said the finding could be incidental. When a large number of volunteers get vaccinated, some volunteers might have other diseases too.
Coming to the vaccine distribution, he said the work related to vaccine distribution arrangements is underway at both the Centre and state levels.
Looking at India's caseload of Covid-19, a total of 95,34,965 patients were diagnosed so far. While 89,73,373 patients have been recovered, the active cases stood at 4,22,943.
