High Tension: KCR's Opponent Attempts Suicide!

Congress Candidate Vanteru Prathap Reddy is doing everything he can to win against Telangana CM KCR in Gajwel Assembly Constituency. He staged a dharna in front of the Returning Officer's office on Sunday complaining about the misuse of power by TRS. Cops shifted the MLA Candidate to police station where he got fainted. Prathap Reddy was hospitalized and got discharged from Yashoda Hospital after few hours as his condition was stable. High tension prevailed in Gajwel after Vanteru Prathap Reddy attempted suicide on Monday night.
Acting on the tip off, Police raided the house of Prathap Reddy's Son Vijay Reddy in Kompally, Hyderabad. They claimed to have received information about the presence of cash and liquor in abundance. However, Cops couldn't find anything in the house.
The situation went out of control after Vanteru Prathap Reddy reached the spot. In protest against the search operation, The MLA Candidate poured petrol on him to commit suicide. Followers and Party Activists reached the spot in big numbers soon after knowing about the news.
A TRS Leader complained to Election Commission saying cash and liquor can be found in the residence of Prathap Reddy's Son. Based on the complaint, An order was passed for carrying out the search operation.
Recently, A Close Aide of Prathap Reddy was caught with Rs 20 lakh while travelling in an RTC Bus.
In 2014 Polls, KCR (86,669) won against TDP Candidate Prathap Reddy (67,303) with a margin of 19,391 votes. This time, Prathap Reddy is contesting on Congress Ticket and also on behalf of Mahakutami.
