Anushka and Arya starrer Varna opened to poor response at the Box Office. The film is ging to remain as a forgettable movie in the careers of both Anushka and Selvaraghavan.
Although she has given her 100 percent for the project, Anushka failed to get any benefit in return except the remuneration. For Selva, it's been a death blow. He worked on a profit sharing basis and only took monthly salary since the past two years.

Total AP collection (share) – Rs 4.20 Crore.
