UPA Improves, NDA Shrinks, Others Dominate In South: Survey

As per the VDA Associates Surveys, UPA and Other Parties which aren't part of any front could win almost equal number of MP Seats in South India. NDA, on the other hand, continues to to struggle in this part of the country. BJP won't be opening count in AP, Telangana and Kerala. While the Saffron Party is likely to win 13 Seats in Karnataka, It could receive 1 Seat in Tamil Nadu.

YSR Congress Party dominates in Andhra Pradesh. As expected, TRS continues its hawa in Telangana. There could be neck-and-neck between BJP & Congress-JDS Combine in Karnataka. While DMK holds upper hand in Tamil Nadu, UDF puts up a good show in Kerala.


South India Lok Sabha Polls Prediction (130 Seats):


NDA - 14 MP Seats; UPA - 59 MP Seats; Others: 57 MP Seats


South India Vote Share Forecast:


NDA - 18%; UPA - 41%; Others - 41%


Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha Polls Prediction:


YCP - 21 MP Seats; TDP - 4 MP Seats


Andhra Pradesh Vote Share Forecast:


YCP - 45%; TDP - 37.20%; BJP - 7.13%; Jana Sena - 5.90%; Congress - 2.20%; CPM - 0.24%; CPI - 0.20%; Others - 2.13%

There is every possibility of significant cross voting in AP due to simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha Polls. Except YCP & TDP, None of the other parties will be winning MP Seats.

Kapu Votes will be divided among TDP, BJP and Jana Sena. Telugu Desam will have an edge.

Brahmins and Kshatriyas continue to support the BJP in Seemandhra.

TRS - 14 MP Seats; Congress - 2 MP Seats; MIM: 1 MP Seat


Telangana Vote Share Forecast:


TRS - 42.85%; Congress - 34.2%; BJP - 12.10%; MIM - 4%, Others - 6.85%


BJP will lose Secunderabad Lok Sabha Segment. TDP won't retain Malkajgiri Parliament Constituency.


Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Polls Prediction:


UPA - 20 MP Seats (DMK: 18 MP Seats; Congress: 2 MP Seats); ADMK - 9 MP Seats; AMMK - 8 MP Seats; BJP - 1 Seat; PMK - 1 Seat


Tamil Nadu Vote Share Forecast:


UPA (DMK, Congress, VCK, MDMK, IUML, MMK) + Left Parties: 38.83%; ADMK: 22%; AMMK: 19.10%; PMK: 4.20%; Others: 10.73%


Karnataka Lok Sabha Polls Prediction:


BJP - 13 MP Seats; Congress - 12 MP Seats; JDS - 2 MP Seats


Karnataka Vote Share Forecast:


BJP - 43.83%; Congress - 35%; JD (S) - 14.16%; Others - 7%


BJP is likely to offer stiff fight to Congress-JDS Combine.


Kerala Lok Sabha Polls Prediction:


UDF - 17 MP Seats; LDF - 3 MP Seats; NDA: 0 Seats


Kerala Vote Share Forecast:


UDF - 42.3%; LDF - 32.7%; NDA - 20.82%; Others - 4.18%


NDA won't be winning even a single MP Seat inspite of 20 percent vote share.
