Why did Venkaiah Naidu lost his cool?

Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu slammed Air India after the Airlines delayed the flight departure because the pilot hasn't come on time.
Reportedly, Venkaiah Naidu reached Airport at 12.30 PM to board a Air India flight AI544 that's scheduled to depart at 1.15 PM. He was told by the Airlines that there is a delay, forcing him to return after waiting for half-an-hour.
After he missed an important appointment in Hyderabad, Venkaiah Naidu expressed his displeasure over the lack of transparency and accountability of Air India. He demanded Air India to explain how such things keep on happening and could only wish the Government-run Airlines understands that we are in the age of competition.
Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju ordered for a probe into the matter and promised appropriate action. Air India tweets, 'Sir, We deeply regret the inconvenience caused due to the fly delay. The pilot was stuck in traffic jam. Enquiry has been ordered'.
