By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Sep 2016 4:45 AM GMTUnion Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu told Rs 2.25 lakh crore were sanctioned to AP in the past two years. He further said, 'Works related to Rs 1.65 lakh crore have already been implemented and remaining Rs 60 crore will be spent soon. With the experience I have, I can say no state in the country have seen so much development in such a short span'.
Venkaiah Naidu told, 'Soon after forming Government, NDA merged 7 mandals with AP only to clear hurdles for Polavaram project. This itself is a proof of the commitment we have'.
The Union Minister opined neither Congress nor YSR Congress have the moral right to criticize ruling parties. 'Those who were criticizing want Chandrababu to step down, so that they can sit in his chair. What will happen if TDP ends ties with BJP and Union Ministers resign?,' he questioned.
Mr.Naidu blamed Congress for the present crisis in Andhra Pradesh. He asked, 'Why did it delay bifurcation of AP for 10 years after promising it in 2014 itself?'.
