Naidu's Sensational Statement on Defections
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 April 2017 5:14 PM GMTUnion Minister M Venkaiah Naidu made a sensational comment on defections Today. He stressed, 'Leaders who defected to other parties should first resign to all the posts. A new Law should be brought to this effect and all the parties need to come forward for it'.
Much to the shock of its alliance partner, Venkaiah made it clear that BJP will contest 2019 General Elections in Telangana without any pre-poll alliance.
The Minister claimed he is against Religion-based Reservation. This could be a dig at KCR's promise of 12 percent reservation for Muslims.
Venkaiah Naidu ridiculed Left Parties for not being able to win a single seat in the 5 State Assembly Polls. He opined Congress Party has become like a single-man enterprise and parties like BSP, MIM and SP are part of UPA. He reiterates people are wishing to see development and hence strengthening Modi's leadership.
Responding on Ayesha Mira murder case verdict, Venkaiah said Innocents like Satyam Babu shouldn't face jail term. He sought a re-investigation of the sensational case.
