If reports from political circles are to be believed Big Brother for AP State in Centre, Union minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu is going to lose his cabinet post.Its known that Venkaiah got the post after he elected as Rajya Sabha member. Now BJP's Decision to Limit RS Membership to 3 Terms Looms Large on Big Brother

The party's recent decision to limit the number of Rajya Sabha terms for one leader to three may take its first toll on the Venkaiah Naidu. The party's high command took the decision at its recent national executive meeting to fecilitate more of its leaders get a chance. If the same was implemented Venkaiah Naidu will have to quit as he was elected to Rajya Sabha from BJP for third term and his tenure going to end in June 2016.

Apart from Venkaiah two more senior leaders Arun Jaitley and Ravi Shankar Prasad who serving as ministers in the Modi government are already in their third term in Rajya Sabha. Jaitley and Prasad have their term till 2018, Venkaiah has only six months for his term. By sticking to the rule f the party is not going to nominate him for another term, he will be ineligible to continue in the cabinet.

After having served in various organisational posts of the BJP at the state and national level, Venkaiah was elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka in 1998.He has since been re-elected twice in 2004 and 2010.
