Venky reminds Sundarakanda & Suryavamsam! How?

We are aware of Venkatesh signing the Telugu remake of Malayalam flick 'Drishyam' which was an Industry Hit, collected approximately Rs 35 crore.
For the female lead in the remake, Venky preferred senior actress Meena who shared screen space with him in two superhits Sundarakanda and Suryavamsam. Notably, Meena was also the leading lead in the original ('Drishyam') too. She will be seen reprising the role of a mother of two girls.
While Venkatesh does the role of Mohanlal, Meena will be seen as his wife in the movie. Actress Nadhiya (Mirchi, Atharintiki Daredi fame) will be playing the role of an IPS Officer in the movie. Veteran actress Sripriya who made her directorial debut with Nithya Menon's Malini 22 will be wielding the megaphone. Currently, the unit is scouting for locations and regular shoot will commence soon.
