Verbal spat between Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi and AIADMK MLA A Anbalagan during a government program on Tuesday made headlines.
Reportedly, AIADMK MLA Anbalagan's Name wasn't even included in the list of Invitees who would deliver speeches. Still, Permission was granted to deliver the speech after the Legislator placed a request just before the start of the function. He, however, kept speaking beyond the time allotted for him and ignored the appeal made by Organisers to cut short his speech. Then, Kiran Bedi ordered to turn off the mike.
Immediately, Anbalagan lost his cool and dared to argue with the Governor on the stage itself. He began shouting accusing Kiran Bedi of turning off the mike during his speech. When the Governor asked him to leave the premises, MLA asked Kiran Bedi to go away.
Kiran Bedi told this isn't the first time Anbalagan behaved in such an inappropriate manner. She accused the Legislator of neglecting repeated appeals to cut short the speech and creating a scene when the mike was turned off.
