Veteran Indian Cricketer defrauded of INR 4 Crore!

Going into detail, the veteran player gave Rs 4 crore for a person, whom he met through a common friend back in 2015. With the businessman, not returning his money, he reportedly approached the Chennai Police.
In these five years, Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as Bhajji asked the businessman to return his money, but his efforts were in vain as he went on to make excuses.
It has been widely reported that the businessman gave a cheque of Rs 25 lakhs to Harbhajan Singh, but the cheque bounced forcing the cricketer to proceed legally.
The businessman moved the Madras High Court to seek anticipatory bail. However, the court forwarded the Neelankarai assistant commissioner of police Visveshvaraiah.
Following this, Visveshvaraiah directed the businessman to appear for an inquiry in connection with the case. More details are awaited.
