VH gets Sonia Gandhi's invite, rushes to New Delhi

The Telangana Congress has gone into a tizzy as the report of Sonia Gandhi's a special invitation for senior Congressman and Sonia Gandhi loyalist V Hanumantha Rao petered in. He is the first politician to have got an invitation from Sonia Gandhi in recent times. Even TPCC chief Revanth Reddy too could meet only Rahul Gandhi and not Sonia Gandhi.
Soon after receiving the invite, VH rushed to New Delhi. He is likely to meet her either on Friday evening or Saturday. Why was VH invited and what is the agenda of the meeting are not known. A known critic of Revanth Reddy, VH has been sulking for quite some time. He has tried for an appointment with Sonia Gandhi several times, but filed. Now, this special invitation from Sonia Gandhi has come as a big morale booster for VH.
Sonia Gandhi is likely to seek V Hanumantha Rao's assessment of the political situation in Telangana. Sources also say that she might ask him about TPCC chief Revanth Reddy's working style. Several seniors have expressed dissent over Revanth Reddy's ways. Working president Turpu Jagga Reddy has already raised a banner of revolt, while the Komatireddys are also unhappy with Revanth Reddy.
