Rs.2 Lakhs For Beating Salman Khan!

We all know that a lot of hungama happened on the release of popular director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's last film 'Padmaavat'. Rajput Karni Sena staged protests alleging that Rani Padmavati Devi character has been shown in the bad light in the movie and it is an insult to the Rajput women. The movie finally released after making some changes to the film including the title. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office later.

Coming to the present, another Bollywood film landed into controversy. Hindu Hai Aaj outfit has warned that Salman's production 'Loveratri' is hurting their sentiments and they will take up serious protests unless the government bans the film. Hindu Hai Aaj Agra president Govind Parashar made a sensational comment that he will offer Rs. 2 lakhs if anyone beats Salman Khan.

Govind Parashar is the associate of former Vishwa Hindu Parishad chief Pravin Togadia. He alleged the sentiments of Hindus are hurt because the movie has been made to insult Navratri festival. He has burnt the posters of 'Loveratri' in Bhagawan Talkies in Agra along with his supporters. His group raised slogans against Salman Khan and demanded the ban on the film.

He warned that he will take up large-scale protests unless they deny censor certification for the film. He also issued warning that they will burn the theaters if they go on releasing the film without considering their sentiments. The movie is slated for release in the month of October and it is interesting to see how the filmmakers, censor board react to these warnings.
