2 Choppers Of Mallya Fetch 8.75 Cr In Auction

The Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT-II) in Bengaluru auctioned two personal helicopters of Vijay Mallya. Delhi-based firm Choudhary Aviation won the bid by taking part in the e-auction which was held on behalf of 17 banks which declared Mallya as loan defaulter.
Choudhary Aviation Director Satyendra Sehrawat informed that the deal was closed for Rs 8.75 crore. Which means each chopper has been purchased for Rs 4.37 crore (approx).
Minimum Bid Price of Rs 1.75 crore was set for each helicopter. Choudhary Aviation shelled out huge price as it have plans to use them for commercial purpose.
5-Seater Airbus Eurocopter B1155 Choppers of Vijay Mallya are 10-Year-Old. Still, The choppers which are parked at Juhu Airport in Mumbai are in pretty good condition.
