Mallya Hits Out At Netizens Who Called Him 'CHOR'
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 July 2019 7:17 AM GMTWest Indies Cricketer Chris Gayle shared a picture with Vijay Mallya on his Twitter Handle the other day. This led to backlash on the Destructive Batsman pointing out that the Liquor Baron was a loan defaulter.
Finally, Vijay Mallya seems to have decided to offer a befitting reply to all those who has been calling him 'CHOR'. 'For all those who saw my photo with the universe boss and my dear friend @henrygayle and commented, please pause and get your facts right about my being your CHOR. Ask your Banks why they are not taking 100 percent of the money I have been offering,' he challenged.
After being declared as wilful defaulter in connection with Rs 9,000 crore loans, Vijay Mallya left the country and kept staying in UK to avoid arrest. Indian Courts had issued non-bailable warrants against Mallya for not responding to the summons. Central Government has been trying it's best for the extradition of now defunct Kingfisher Airlines Chief to India.
After Mallya's reaction, Indian Banks need to clarify why they were rejecting the proposal of 100 percent payment. What else does they want from the Liquor Baron?
