The recent statements of Vijayakanth invited the wrath of Rajinikanth Fans after Superstar was described as a coward by the Senior Hero.
While addressing a rally near Chennai recently, Vijayakanth claimed he wasn't afraid of anyone and won't withdraw from politics like Rajinikanth even if political parties threaten him. Taking a dig at Rajini's Kannada roots, The DMDK Chief asks, 'You address him as Tamizhan? Do you know who censored his films'.
While Rajinikanth was born in a Marathi family in Bengaluru, Vijaykanth was born in a Telugu family in Madurai.
Rajinikanth delayed his political entry and never offered a convincing answer to the demand from his fans. Vijayakanth has deliberately highlighted the issue during his poll campaign.
Annoyed with the unwanted statements, Rajinikanth Fans burnt the effigies of Vijayakanth at several places on Sunday. N Ramdass, Rajini Fans President for Chennai, accused Captain of unnecessary dragging their Matinee Idol into politics with his loose talk.
