Vijayasanthi Keeps Everyone Guessing With Her Moves
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Nov 2020 3:37 AM GMTActress-turned-politician Vijayasanthi is keeping both the Congress and the BJP on tenterhooks. She is now the most sought after politician and a bitter fight has ensued between both the national parties over her. But, realising that she s a political hot property, Vijayasanthi is keeping both the BJP and the Congress on the edge.
Ever since Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy met her and held discussions, her tone has changed. She began issuing statements that are definitely pro-BJP. Then the Congress biggies like Jetti Kusuma Kumar and Telangana party affairs incharge Manickam Tagore rushed to her residence and held parleys. Then she issued a statement that can be interpreted as pro-Congress. But on Sunday, she dropped another bombshell, saying that the BJP has emerged as powerful in Telangana only because of KCR's policy of luring Congress MLAs. By luring the Congress MLAs into TRS, KCR has allowed the BJP to emerge as a challenger, she said.
Also she made interesting comments on Manickam Tagore. She said he should have been sent to Telangana a bit earlier. Had he come earlier, the party's position would have been different. On Dubbak bypoll day too, Vijayasanthi had sent mixed signals. Despite being the chairperson of the Congress Party's election campaign committee, Vijayasanthi asked people to vote as per their conscience. She has clearly not asked the people to vote for the Congress. Also the statement did not have her designation in the Congress.
Meanwhile, the BJP sources are confident that Vijayasanthi would soon join the party in the presence of Amit Shah or JP Nadda.
