Will Vijayashanti accept the offer of Congress?

Vijayashanti earned the reputation of not an active participant in party activities over the years. Be it when she was a TRS MP or while being in Congress, Ramulamma kept behaving like an outsider for reasons known best to her. She wasn't actively participating in Congress programmes post the 2014 elections.
As there isn't much time for 2019 Polls, Congress Leadership is trying to use the charisma of Vijayashanti. On Sunday, Telangana Congress in-charge Khuntia and TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy met the Former MP in Hyderabad and appealed her to become active again. Mr.Khuntia promised to offer Party's Campaign responsibility to her if she is willing to accept the offer.
Prior to 2009 Polls, KCR succeeded in convincing Vijayashanti to merge her Talli Telangana Party with TRS and offered an MP Ticket in return. She, however, decided to quit TRS after bifurcation due to differences with KCR but faced defeat on Congress ticket in 2014 Polls.
After the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa, Vijayashanti began focusing on Tamil Nadu politics. She paid tributes to Amma at her memorial in Merina Beach, met VK Sasikala Natarajan at the Poes Garden residence and even offered to campaign for AIADMK in RK Nagar by-poll. That's when many rumours surfaced but she ruled out any chances of entering Tamil Nadu Politics.
