Vijayashanti Ditched TRS, Joins Congress?

At the time when separate Telangana state is becoming a reality, the activists who fought for the cause are also getting separated too. The latest we hear is that Vijayasanthi is no more a bird of pink-party and she is ready to travel with Congress from now.
From last one week former actress Vijayasanthi is residing in Delhi to lobby with big-wigs of the party and with a favourable decision likely to be evolved on separate Telangana today, the Medak MP is looking forward to announce her decision, say reports. Another latest development is that she ordered her supporters to remove all flex-banners related to Telangana Rashtra Samithi at her home. Insiders revealed that Vijayasanthi got a firm assurance from high command that they will Medak MP Ticket to her.
From couple of months it is highly speculated that all is not well between TRS Medak MP Vijayasanthi and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao. They say that KCR is seeking Vijayasanthi to leave Medak seat to him in 2014 elections. As the TRS boss is not doing well in his native Mahabubnagar, he wanted to contest from TRS-strong hold Medak this time. Also the results of Panchayat polls have favoured Congress a lot, and TRS lost huge gram panchayat seats all over T-region. Maybe Vijayasanthi made her move into Congress anticipating a big defeat for TRS in 2014.
