Star Campaign Doesn't Contest Election

Much to everyone's surprise, Vijayashanti who was appointed as the Star Campaigner of the Telangana Congress is reluctant to contest in the upcoming Assembly Polls. Although Congress Leadership is more than willing to offer her Medak Assembly Ticket again, This Actress-turned-Politician claims to be least interested and her sole aim is to ensure Congress regains power.
Vijayashanti used to be in No.2 Position in the TRS Party and KCR went to claim she was his god-gifted Sister. TRS Supremo, however, suspended her for anti-party activities before 2014 Elections. By then, She made up her mind to join Congress Party and contested unsuccessfully against TRS Candidate Padma Devendar Goud from Medak Assembly Constituency.
Ramulamma is back into the limelight as Star Campaigner after four years. In her recent interview, She made it clear KCR had no role in Telangana Formation and Congress alone deserves all the credit.
