Vijayawada as Capital City crushed these people

Majority of the AP people mentioned their mixed feeling on the decision of TDP to choose Vijayawada as the capital city. People of Vijayawada are on cloud nine soon after getting the information that their region is going to be the capital city.
But the joy of few people living in Vijayawada didnÂ’t stay longer. As soon as Vijayawada is declared as the capital city of AP, house owners in this region doubled the rents for their tenants. There are several middle class and lower class people living in Vijayawada and this
entire set got crushed with this boom.
In fact, it is only the rich class which is minting money in the form of rents and real estate. Poor and middle class are facing tough times in the city as they were allocating almost 75% of their salary towards rents. Hope, government takes some decision on this aspect and lets hope that it helps this set of people from moving away from the city.
