Vijayendra Prasad's Most Humble Reaction on RS Nomination!
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 July 2022 9:25 AM GMTVijayendra Prasad is a legendary scriptwriter who needs no introduction. He is behind many critically acclaimed and highly commercial films. We cannot imagine films like Pan-India projects Bahubali, and RRR without the ace writer. He has been writing stories for more than three long decades.
Now the legendary writer has another feather in his illustrious cap as he was nominated to the Upper House of Parliament, Rajya Sabha the other day. Vijayendra Prasad is one of the four personalities from the Southern states who were nominated to Rajya Sabha under the nominated category by the Union government.
As it is very rare that writers get to enter the house, many people wanted to know how the writer-director is feeling about the Rajya Sabha nomination. A few media personnel reportedly tried to quiz the ace writer on his reaction to the nomination.
To everyone's surprise, Vijayendra Prasad is said to have given the most humble response possible by saying that he is seeing this as a normal thing. It is just a normal thing, the writer responded with his reaction to the new honour.
It is probably the humble reaction we can hear from a humble man. Despite being a star writer and father of India's top director SS Rajamouli, Vijayendra Prasad keeps things simple and he always appears in simple attire. He prefers wearing a simple dress.
Vijayendra Prasad is where he is now after facing a lot of issues and struggles. After reaching the top position as a writer, he became a director with Ardhangi. The film had a staller cast and was released with massive hype given the success Vijayendra Prasad tasted as a writer.
Unfortunately, Ardhangi ended up as a big dud at the box office and things turned upside down. With this, Vijayendra Prasad again started working as a scriptwriter and they are doing well now.
Not just Telugu, Vijayendra Prasad worked on various scripts across languages. He proved his writing prowess at the national level with Bahubali, followed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Mersal, and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Recent sensation RRR is an addition to the list of scripts, he has written.
