Senior Hero to shut down Political Party?

The recent Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu has been a death blow to Vijayakanth led DMDK party. None of the party candidates including the Actor-turned-Politician were on the winning side. Division in the party, Resignations of leaders and Dissatisfaction among cadre were raising questions about its survival.
Makkal DMDK Leader Chandrakumar has been touring all over Tamil Nadu with the sole aim of luring DMDK Leaders and Cadre. On Sunday, He openly declared that 3 lakh DMDK activists will be joining Makkal DMDK soon. This raised the question that how many people would continue to support Captain.
To make it worse, DMDK Leaders weren't even attending the meetings held to prepare action plan for Local Body meetings. Few Leaders have already conveyed to the leadership that they can't contest elections spending their own money and Party must offer funding. In such situation, DMDK might withdrew from Local Body polls.
Speculations were ripe that Vijayakanth may shut the party on August 25th this year. If this is true, then Captain's political career comes to an end.
