Beauty Can't Fetch Votes: Minister Tells Priyanka

Bihar Minister Vinod Narayan Jha sparked a controversy by making sexist comment on none other than Priyanka Gandhi who was recently appointed as Congress Party's General Secretary for Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Mr. Jha described the appointment of Priyanka Gandhi as an attempt by Congress to garner votes using beautiful faces. 'If they think 'beautiful' Priyanka Gandhi will fetch them seats, Then they aren't thinking straight. India's democracy is mature,' opined the BJP Leader.
The Minister opined Priyanka Gandhi is the wife of Robert Vadra who is accused of corrupt practices. He went on to say Priyanka is very beautiful but she isn't known for any political achievements.
Congress believes political entry of Priyanka Gandhi is a masterstroke ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. Whereas, BJP feels SP & BSP will be worried about the political debut of Priyanka as this leads to a triangular fight in Uttar Pradesh (BJP-led NDA, Congress-led UPA, SP-BSP Alliance) and eventually anti-incumbency vote will be divided.
