It's been many months since fans saw Mahendra Singh Dhoni as a finisher. Despiting establishing himself as one of the best finishers in the world, he could not bring the finisher out these days. Putting an end to this, Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave a blast to his fans and Chennai Super Kings supporters.

In the edge of the seat corner match played between CSK and Mumbai Indians the other day, Dhoni took his side towards victory in style. When the match was going MI's way, he shifted the momentum towards CSK and took everyone by surprise.

Dhoni's heroics made Mumbai Indians record another defeat as it could not win at least one match in the tournament so far. Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 28 runs in just 13 balls. Jaydev Unadkat, who came to bowl the last over ended up giving 16 runs. As a result, CSK won the match on the last delivery.

Dhoni's master class took the cricketer fraternity by a storm. The former players were in awe of Dhoni. They said this is what happens when Dhoni is on the crease and the fraternity had dubbed him as the best finisher. Former Indian pacer and world -cup winning player Rudra Pratap Singh aka RP Singh said that Dhoni should come out of retirement.

The wicket-keeper batsman had proved that there is still fire left in him and he did not retire from cricket due to lack of form. The internet was on fire seeing Dhoni's bat producing the much-needed fireworks.

The Chennai Super Kings camp jumped out of joy looking at Dhoni's match-winning knock. Leading the force, skipper Ravindra Jadeja bowed to former skipper Dhoni. The picture went viral on social media.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been leading the CSK since the franchise was started had decided to pass on the captaincy to all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. This came as a surprise to one and all and many felt that Dhoni might retire for IPL as well. However, the Chennai Super Kings management made it clear that Dhoni will not retire this season and he will be associated with the team for a few seasons.
