Unfortunately, voters get attracted to the money they get and cast their votes for candidates who give money.
It is an open secret that political parties spend money like water to get votes. If the election is crucial then the money for a vote would go up to thousands. Earlier we have seen how voters demanded more money for the votes.
It is known that Munugode is gearing up for an intense political fight and the parties are reportedly not shying away from spending huge amounts to get the votes from the voters. The trend is turning out to be beneficial for the voters.
To shed light on how prestigious the election is for the parties, a WhatsApp status is doing rounds which say that money will not come easily and unless it is a by-election. The status also drew a comparison with the famous Lalitha Jewelers ad.
The three major parties in the state took the by-poll in Munugode seriously and earlier it was reported that a few bundles of cash were seized from the constituency. Given this, it is no wonder that the status is doing rounds.
