In the third T20 against the English team in the ongoing T20 series, Virat improved his T20 rankings and entered ICC T20 batsmen rankings, thanks to his performance which helped India to put a good score on the scoreboard.
Kohli reached the 5th spot in ICC T20 rankings by scoring 73 and 77 against England in the second and third T20 respectively. He improved his ranking by a spot with his points.
With back-to-back to half-centuries in two consecutive matches, the Run Machine equaled New Zealand Skipper Kane Williamson's record of 11 half-centuries in the shorter format as a skipper.
