Infosys CEO gets a huge Salary hike

Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka's salary had seen a big jump. Promoters of Infosys felt Mr.Vishal deserves the pay hike for getting back the company on track.
Until recently, Vishal Sikka was paid $7.08 million per year. He would take home not less than $11 million (approx Rs 74 crore) per year from the current financial year. While the base salary is about $1 million, Variable Pay stood at $3 million. The first non-founder CEO of Infosys will receive $5 million in Stock options and $2 million in Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Infosys revenue stood at $9.5 billion (Rs 63,446 crore) in the current fiscal to register a growth of 13.3%, surpassing the Nasscom's prediction of 12.3%.
Vishal Sikka's tenure has been extending by another two years. So, He remains as Infosys boss until 2021.
