'My Letter to CM was treated like a Waste Paper'

BJP Legislative Party Leader Vishnu Kumar Raju expressed his displeasure over the locations where Liquor Shops has been established in his constituency.
Vishnu Kumar Raju: 'License was issued even after I took a firm stand not to permit Liquor Shops within 100 meters radius of Educational Institutions. I am vexed fighting against the practice of issuing license against the norms. In my constituency, There are 13 bars and 14 wine shops. A representation was given to CM Chandrababu Naidu opposing the locations of 8 Liquor Shops. Officials had thrown away the letter submitted by Me like a waste paper'.
The BJP MLA alleged, 'Although Visakha Excise Superintendent is curtailing the Wines Mafia, The Liquor Mafia is getting licenses and orders directly from Amaravati'.
Few months ago, Excise Minister Jawahar sparked a row by calling Beer a health drink and permitting establishment of liquor shops in residential areas.
