Vizag Tour Serves Narendra Modis Political Needs?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh after a long time and massive arrangements were made. He visited the state last time when Telugu Desam Party was in power and Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister. During the previous tour, Modi made tall promises for the state and assured a big help.

Coming to the current tour he landed in divided state and people usually pinned high hopes that he might announce any projects for the state. But his speech took everyone by surprise as it sounded like a political speech as he blasted a lot about the development his party did.

On top of not announcing any projects, the Prime Minister praised the Telugu community to the sky and said the community will prosper and they are very good at heart. We hear such things in political meetings and Vizag people got the opportunity to hear the same in Modi's speech.

Political experts say that Modi's Vizag tour served his political purposes as he met his ally party and state leaders. It is known that he met Pawan Kalyan and the meeting reportedly lasted for over 30 minutes and various topics were discussed.

As when reports are saying that Janasena might join hands with the Telugu Desam Party leaving out the saffron party, Narendra Modi met Pawan Kalyan. He was given a prior appointment by the PMO and he met Modi. This is a political purpose and Janasena somehow has a good vote percentage in the state compared to BJP. If BJP[ wants to expand its wings then it needs Pawan's help.

Before meeting the Andhra Pradesh BJP leaders Modi met Pawan. After the meeting, Pawan Kalyan said that Modi asked him various things and he is hopeful of Good Days for the state.

Later a few AP BJP Wing leaders met Narendra Modi reportedly and they listed out their concerns and fears. Modi is believed to have told the leaders that he will look into that and assured them.

Both meetings are political and the state has nothing to do with that. It is a big shock that someone of the stature of Prime Minister did not talk about the city and grant any projects which need support to grow as it was divided without proper capital.
