VK Sasikala Natarajan's Nephew arrested
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 April 2017 5:05 AM GMTVK Sasikala Natarajan's Nephew TTV Dhinakaran was arrested by Delhi Police on Tuesday night in connection with allegedly attempting to bribe Election Commission for AIADMK's 'Two Leaves' symbol.
Dhinakaram has been grilled by the Crime Branch Police in Delhi for the past four days. After questioning him for six hours on Tuesday, The Former AIADMK Deputy General Secretary was arrested. Even his friend Mallikarjuna and the middleman Sukesh Chandrasekar, who promised to make the deal a success, were in the custody of Delhi Police.
Reportedly, Dhinakaran offered Rs 50 crore to an Election Commission Official through Middleman for obtaining 'Two Leaves' party symbol after O Panneerselvam's Camp stakes claim of it. During the questioning, Dhinakaran admits meeting Sukesh Chandrasekar assuming he is a High Court judge. He, however, denied offering money to him for bribing EC.
Delhi Police say Dhinakaran paid Rs 10 crore to Sukesh Chandrasekar through Hawala for materializing this deal.
