Is Telangana CM KCR's son KTR is strategically moving towards the 'chief' post? The way he has been projected on various programmes and the way he is closely moving with Delhi politicians are giving such indications. This discussion is coming to the fore because another central minister showered praises on KTR. The Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh attended the Deccan Dialogue which was conducted in Indian School of Business(ISB) as a chief guest. On the occasion, VK Singh showered praises on KTR.

He said that "KTR is not the kind of person who will confine himself to his portfolios. He has the dynamism and he gained a grip over his department as well as other departments" VK Singh also appreciated Telangana as well. He said "Telangana reached the number one place in Ease Of Doing Business(EODB) with revolutionary decisions. If Telangana gets a leap in development, it will inspire the other states. I hope Telangana should grow in all sectors like research, IT, industries. To choose Hyderabad for this Deccan Dialogue there are several reasons. The culture and heritage, governance, development are main reasons. The state is politically stable. Hyderabad has grown as a hub to IT, pharma, healthcare and other sectors."

While speaking at the event, KTR reiterated his father's words on Central governments dominance. He said that "It is not right that Centre will be the decision-makers in all the aspects. The central government can coordinate with the states but they should give more powers in some aspects." He said that "Telangana government has taken revolutionary measures and reached the top place in EODB but there are some obstacles in getting permissions. So, the states should be allowed to hold discussions with other countries. Then the states will have an opportunity to grow. When the states develop, it will automatically reflect in the countries overall development."
