Increase Of Voters In Telangana State

Speculations were abuzz that the count of voters in Telangana has fallen in the recent past. Contrary to the unofficial reports in circulation, Election Commission planned to unveil a draft voters list which confirms increase of voters in the state.
As per the Data which was leaked before the Official Release on Saturday, Voters count increased in Telangana when compared to the statistics in January 2018. Since then, As many as 8.08 lakh new voters got enrolled to exercise their constitutional right.
Out of total 2,61,36,776 Voters in Telangana, Male and Female Voters account to 1,32,68,676 and 1,28,65,193 respectively. Complaints against the draft voters list will be accepted by Election Commission till October 30th, 2018. Thereafter, Focus would on making necessary modifications.
Congress Leaders have alleged TRS Leadership is trying to benefit from fake voters by going for Early Polls. They had even brought this matter to the notice of the Election Commission.
