Director VV Vinayak succeeded in helping several Young Heroes attain mass image. He, however, is going through a bad phase post the failure of 'Intelligent'. There is strong buzz about his political debut since many years but the Filmmaker kept delaying his entry into politics for some reason.
In a recent interview, VV Vinayak congratulated YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the sensational victory. He recalled, 'My Father used to admire YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Now, My Younger Brother Surendra is continuing his Legacy in Politics. He is an active member of YSR Congress. Even I met YS Jagan garu. He visited my house when my mother passed away. At one stage, Ravindrareddy (YSR's Brother-in-Law, Yogi Producer) asked Me to contest elections but I refrained from doing so due to lack of strength. Even My Mother advised Me not to step into politics reminding how My Father lost money because of it and failed to look after his children properly. She asked Me to think about it after my children gets settled down. That’s why I had turned down the proposal. Will think about it in future'.
VV Vinayak might be aiming for 2024 Elections. He could join YSR Congress Party anytime soon.
