The speech of Pawan Kalyan at the Bharatha Matha Maha Harati organised at HMDA Grounds in Hyderabad on the 71st Republic Day raised many eyebrows. Public got the feeling that Powerstar changed a lot in a span of just 8 months since 2019 General Elections.
Claiming to serve the mother land has always been in his mind, Pawan Kalyan expressed his desire to sacrifice his life for the nation. He hailed PM, 'India became a powerful nation under the leadership of Narendra Modi ji. Not even a single terror attack happened in the country in recent years under his rule. BJP is capable of keeping the nation safe and also ensures development'.
Prior to the 2019 Elections, Pawan Kalyan appeared like one of the harsh critics of BJP Policies. He even ridiculed the Special Package offered to AP in place of Special Category Status as 'Two Stale Laddus'. PK had expressed his displeasure on TDP and YCP MPs for allegedly failing to mount pressure on the centre from 2014 to 2019. It was he who had fallen on Mayawati's feet hoping she gonna become Prime Minister if Third Front comes to power.
Post the 2019 Elections, Jana Sena Chief left no stone unturned to become an alliance partner of BJP as neither UPA nor Third Front have a chance to establish government in the near future. He feels the combination of JSP and BJP will eventually fetch good returns in the coming years. Pawan Kalyan is answerable to Andhrites over giving up on Special Category Status.
Political Analysts wonder why don't Pawan Kalyan take into account the deaths of soldiers and civilians at the border, restrictions on Kashmiris, Economic Slowdown, Unemployment, CAA and NRC. You get the feeling that PK has transformed into an opportunistic politician in the recent years. Even Jana Sainiks will have to agree with this statement..isn't it?
