Wait Gets Longer For Kalwakuntla Kavitha

It appears that KCR's daughter and former Nizamabad MP Kalwakuntla Kavitha's wait for some key position in the party could get longer. It is now reliably learnt that CM KCR has decided to sail with old warhorse KK and send him to Rajya Sabha one more time. Similarly, as part of the efforts aimed at building the party in Khammam, former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy would also be sent to Rajya Sabha. This only means that Kavitha will not be sent to Rajya Sabha this time. So, it's disappointment for her again.
Former MP Kavitha was initially tipped to be the party candidate as part of the scheme to rehabilitate her. This was seen as KCR's strategy of doing justice to his family. Already son KTR, nephew Harish Rao, another nephew Santosh have been rehabilitated. Another close relative, Vinod, has been made Planning Board chief. Only Kavitha remained out of the power circle. However, KCR apparently decided to keep her out as he has to accommodate other key leaders. As a result, Kavitha may have to wait for a longer period of time.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz that OSD in CMO and poet Desapathi Srinivas could be given the local body constituency MLC post. He is likely to be made the MLC now. This means disappointment for the likes of former speaker KR Suresh Reddy, who joined the TRS after resigning from the Congress Party.
