Finally Pawan made it clear and openly spoke about his political aspirations.When a news channel questioned Pawan of supporting PVP he made it clear that there is nothing wrong in supporting a person who got CBI clean chit.

Indirectly hitting out at YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Pawan asked what was wrong in a good man like PVP contesting in the election when people, who spent some years in a jail, jumped in the electoral battle.

"Prasad is my friend and I support him. When leaders who have suffered imprisonment for their criminal activities in lakhs of crores of worth scams are contesting in elections, why not Prasad who is even given a clean chit by CBI.What's wrong in PVP contesting elections when even people who are out of jail are contesting the polls," questions Pawan.

He also revealed his plans to campaign for Lok Satta Chief Jayaprakash Narayan in Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment and wished leaders like him have to be in Parliament.

Pawan said, “ I will campaign for the victory of Lok Satta chief Jaya Prakash Narayan from Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency in these elections. I am doing this as the leaders like JP must be in Parliament.”
