Hyderabad-based Karachi Bakery has its outlets all over the country. This eatery-chain come under threat after the Pulwama Terror Attack which resulted in the death of 40 CRPF Jawans.

A Group of 15 People staged protest at the Karachi Bakery outlet at Indiranagar in Bangalore. The Management was forced to remove the name 'Karachi' on the signboard. Upon receiving info, Police rushed to the spot but by then the protestors fled noticing the patrol van. The protesters were now identified based on the CCTV Footage.

Karachi Bakery issued a statement claiming it is an Indian Company to put an end to the misconceptions. It's been founded by Khanchand Ramnani who migrated to India from Pakistan during the partition. Karachi Bakery was established in the year 1953. 'The essence of Karachi Bakery is absolutely Indian by heart and will remain so,' read the statement.

Not many knew that the first Karachi Bakery was set up at the Moazzam Jahi Market in Hyderabad. Over 15 stores have been established in various parts of the Hyderabad since then. Karachi Bakery outlets can be found in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and other Indian Cities.
