AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claimed Government has effectively handled the Hudhud cyclone using the technology to maximum possible extent. He reminded Government Machinery has worked day & night since three days to bring down the damage to as much as possible.
Naidu relied on Satellite Images, NRSA Mapping, Photos and Videos received from people through an App. He asserted the information collected through these means has helped the Government in rescue and relief operations.
Chief Minister pointed out the collapse of communication systems in Visakhapatnam due to heavy winds. He asked Telecom Service Providers to restore the services at the earliest.
Chandrababu demanded Centre to sanction Rs 2,000 crore funds as immediate assistance for Hudhud cyclone relief operations.
