We Will Fight, But Where Are The Leaders?

The Congress Party wants to put up a decent show in the upcoming GHMC elections, but where are the leaders? Who will lead the party to victory? Who will inspire the workers and cadres in the GHMC area?
Time was when the Congress had stalwarts in the GHMC area. There were leaders like PJR, Marri Sasidhar Reddy and Danam Nagender Of these, PJR is no more, while Sasidhar Reddy is inactive these days. Danam Nagender is now with the TRS. Also, strong leaders like Mukesh Goud have also left the scene. Several second rung leaders have also joined the BJP or TRS.
One young leader that the Congress still has is P Vishnuvardhan Reddy. Reddy was a one-time MLA but has wide following because of his father PJR.But, he is quite inactive and has not visited the Gandhi Bhavan in years.
The only leader worth the salt that the Congress has in the GHMC area is former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav. But, sources say that he has already indicated the party leadership that he cannot wage a loan battle. Will Manickam Tagore intervene and help the beleaguered Congress Party.
