One Sarju Markam is said to be the accused in the case and he presented the home theatre. The reason behind this is that he loved the bride and was an ex-lover of hers. Unable to digest the marriage, he gave the home theatre as a gift.
When bridegroom Hemendra Merawi (30) tried to fix the home theatre, it exploded leaving him dead. A few others including his brother Rajkumar sustained injuries and he passed away while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
After digging deeper into the case, the cops had a few doubts about Sarju Markam. He was arrested for the investigation. During the same, he is believed to have confessed to the crime. Further investigation is underway and more details are awaited.
