Talking about Bofors Scandal, Big B said his family were grilled, called traitors, abused and humiliated for several years. He claims they won the case against a UK Paper when a court in UK was moved by them. He recalls, '25 years after the baseless charges were levelled on us, One of the Chief Prosecutors involved in the case revealed our names were asked to be linked to the Bofors Scandal'.
When asked does he wants those behind it to be punished, Amitabh questioned, 'What punishment should I seek? Will that take away years of suffering and mental torture that we went through. Those who have levelled allegations against Me has never approached the courts to verify or justify them'.
About his name in the Panama Papers, Bachchan denies the allegations and complains misuse of his name. He claims to have replied to the summons issued by Mumbai & Delhi-based Agencies, and has even made personal appearances to prove his innocence after his name featured in Panama Papers. The Legendary Actor says his family shall continue to extend their cooperation to the concerned officials respecting the law of the land if any such allegations surface in future. 'I seek peace and freedom at this age and time of my life, not headlines,' he concludes.
