By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Nov 2019 12:29 PM GMTTo educate the people regarding the dangers of walking on the railway tracks the Western Railways has come up with quite interesting ideas.
The Railway has used Yamraj, who is considered as the Lord of Death as per the Hindu mythology. The pictures posted by the Western Railway on its official Twitter handle show a man who dressed up as Yamraj, carrying people off the railway track to the platform. This tweet has resulted in a flood of retweets and replies.
The Tweet was made in Hindi, states that Yamraj has a lookout and saves the lives of people.
''In order to make people aware of the dangers of walking across tracks @rpfwrbct, as part of the new campaign, is encouraging passengers to use the bridge or subway,'' read the Tweet.
Looks like this idea went well with the Twitterati. The Twitterati is all praise for the innovative idea.
''Very unique way to make people aware... good work. Keep it up,'' tweeted a user.
''Good job Western Railway. Salute to all railways officials for saving the lives of others through this awareness,'' Tweeted another user.
